Birthday girl

Yesterday I was celebrating my 25th birthday with my friends. It was sooo much fun! We played board and video games, danced and drank. We left the club when the sun began to rise.
I'm really grateful that I have so many wonderful friends who came from Warsaw and Wroclaw to celebrate this special day with me. I had a great time :)

Wedding bells

Hi!
Yesterday I was celebrating my best friend's wedding. It was so much fun, we danced and sang till dawn. My friend looked like a princess in her white dress. :) Everything was perfect, food was  delicious, the DJ played one hit after another... I think it was the best wedding I have ever been to.

So many countries, so many customs

Today's the 1st November, the day we think about and visit the graves of our beloved ones. It made me think of the different ways we commemorate the deceased around the world. In Poland All Saints' Day is filled with melancholy and calmness (although, for some people nowadays more important is the biggest bouquet or candle on the grave). But in countries like Japan or Mexico All Saints' Day is a joyous time, a time when the spirits of the deceased come to visit us. People in these countries organise parades and dances to welcome the spirits. It's all very lively and colorful. Someday I'd like to visit Mexico or Japan in this time of the year.
And you, do you like our polish All Saints' Day or would you prefer celebrate it like Mexican and Japanese?

Everybody can dance

Hi!😊
Today I was all day at work and later I went to my dancing classes. I'm practicing Lindy Hop. Do you know what kind of dance is it? I bet you don't ;) Lindy Hop is a member of the swing dance family. It was born in Harlem, New York in 1920s and was very popular in the Swing era in 1930s and 1940s.
Lindy hop in Poland is not very well-known dance, along with other swing dances like Charleston or West Coast Swing. It's a shame because it's a very joyful and social dance. I leaving you with the video:
